Salton was founded in 1947 in Miramar, Florida, by a Jewish immigrant from Poland by the name of Lou Salton. Home of Living Brand’s history with Salton began in 1974, when we took ownership for the brand in Africa. Salton is a heritage brand in South Africa, most people grew up with a Salton hot tray, or slow cooker, or carving knife, or heater.
